Does anyone have instructions or recipes?
From what I've heard you need to let plantain skin dry out in the sun then roast them in some type of oven then add palm and palm kernel oil...
Has soap maker added plantain skin to their recipe?

can the "burned" plantain skin serve as the alkali source?
alkali CAN be made by dripping water through (the plantain) ashes, but it's challenging to make and collect safely and even worse, you don't know how concentrated that solution is.
I'm a fairly accomplished soapmaker and I WISH I could make ABS, but I cannot. So instead I buy it in bulk to make the price more reasonable and sell the surplus.
